The Scheduling Calendar is a central hub where you create and maintain visits either from the client or the employee perspective. Filled visits are 'shared' between the client and an employee assigned to the visit. Changes made to a visit on the client's calendar are automatically reflected on the employee's calendar, and vice versa.
Both the Client Calendar and the Employee Calendar are very similar in appearance and in what actions you can perform. See the article Schedule Environment Options to learn how to configure calendar options and appearance.
Both calendars have 6 main areas:
1. Home Ribbon. Change the calendar view and use icons to perform actions. TIP: hover your cursor over an icon to display a hint box. You can also access these actions by rt. clicking on a visit to open the jump menu.
2. Header. This displays client or employee home and contact information.
3. Date Panel. Depending on your calendar view (week, month, etc.), you can use this panel to move quickly ahead or back for that duration.
4. The Schedule. Displays filled and unfilled visits.
5. Visit Information Bar. The Date Navigator and additional information about the visit and employee/client can be seen here.
6. Visit Type Legend. Different visit types are displayed in a different color and/or font on the calendar. This legend tells you what they mean.
