When an error is identified in a saved Dated Note, it cannot be corrected or cancelled by the site. However, Procura Support can correct or cancel the note depending on the situation. Dated notes may not be deleted.
The following are two scenarios where a Dated Note would be edited or cancelled.
- A Dated Note was written using the wrong note type. E.g. You wrote a Progress Note but mistakenly used the 'Client Observations' note type. This dated note needs to be edited to correct the note type. You will need to call Service Desk > ask to speak to Procura Support > they will edit the note with the corrected note type and ask you to validate the change.
- A Dated Note was entered in error (e.g. in the wrong client or employee record). This needs to be cancelled. You will need to call Service Desk > ask to speak to Procura Support > they will cancel the note as it may not be deleted. The cancelled Dated Note will:
- remain in the client or employee record with a line through it.
- have a cancelled status.
- have a message explaining the reason for cancellation and the support incident #.
You will find the cancellation message either at the top of the dated note or in the Follow Ups tab (if the dated note type has this tab). See examples below:
