Issue
When a CHW is in an area with poor to no internet connection, Procura mobile can enter ‘offline’ mode. Information entered during ‘offline’ mode is not syncing with desktop but will remain in mobile. The following information is affected:
- Visit start and stop details and alerts. E.g. a mobile alert triggers due to an overdue start time when in fact the CHW has started the visit.
- Observation notes and alerts. Observation notes will not be visible in Dated Notes and a mobile note alert will not appear in the Task planner.
- Screener information and alerts. Completed screeners will not appear in Documents and Assessments and screener alerts will not appear in the task planner.
Solution
Logging out and logging back in to Procura Mobile will synch this information. Refreshing will not solve this issue. The CHWs are being asked to log out and back in to Procura 2x a day (mid-shift and after last client). This will ensure data is synched regardless of offline mode status.
For Schedulers: When following up on Mobile Alerts for overdue visit start/stop times, and the CHW states that they have in fact started/stopped the visit, ask them to log out of Procura and log back in. After they log in, the missing information will appear in desktop.
