What is the Tunnel?
Tunnel VPN is an application on your VCH work phone that allows you to connect to the secure VCH network.
Note: Tunnel VPN must be active in order to start the Procura Mobile app and access my.vch.ca.
Can I Turn the Tunnel Off?
You should never turn Tunnel Off.
Your phone may warn you that it is using too much battery and offer to turn it off, but doing this will prevent the Procura Mobile app from working.
Note: if you turn on Power Saving Mode, the Tunnel will stop working.
How Can I Tell if the Tunnel is Working?
If the Tunnel is working properly, you'll see an icon of a key near the time display on your phone.
If there are too many notifications to display, this icon may not be visible without swiping down to reveal the Notification Tray. If you don't see an item that says Connected to Tunnel VPN, proceed to the next section.
What Should I Do if the Tunnel Stops Working?
If you've just restarted your phone or lost and regained mobile reception, your tunnel may take up to 90 seconds to reconnect. You can view its status by tapping on the Tunnel icon on your phone. Sometimes, viewing this screen can speed up the connection. 
If your Tunnel is not working after about 4 minutes, please call the service desk for assistance.
