In order to use Outlook with Dated notes, follow these steps to setup an Outlook profile in Citrix. This version of Outlook is used only to support Dated notes. **For everyday emails continue to use the Outlook on your computer.**
Create an Outlook Profile in Citrix
1. Close Procura and Outlook
2. Open the Citrix Portal icon on your desktop. If you do not have the icon, open Internet Explorer and go to https://internalapps.healthbc.org
3. In Citrix Storefront > Apps, open the Procura folder
4. Open the Outlook - Procura Production icon
5. If a Windows Security login window appears, enter your EMAIL ADDRESS and LAN (network) password.
6. If the Outlook Setup Wizard opens, follow the steps below.
NOTE: If you see a Microsoft Outlook window that says Loading Profile, then Outlook is searching for your profile; this will take several minutes for the Outlook Startup Wizard to appear.
Outlook Setup Wizard
Complete the following Setup Wizards steps:
1. Click Next to continue.
2. Select Yes to configure Outlook, then click Next to continue.
3. Outlook will find your email address. Click Next to continue.
This step may take up to 10 minutes. Be patient!
4. Click Allow to continue.
5. Click Next when it becomes enables
6. Click Finish to continue.
7. Edit your Name and Initials to make them correct (i.e. Name: Loblaw, Robert Initials: RL), then click OK.
8. When the Help Protect & Improve Microsoft window appears, select the Don’t make changes and click OK to complete.
